Jacob Rosenthal has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jacob is currently working at Mindset Medical as an Engineering Lead, where they are responsible for obtaining FDA clearance for their Remote Video Vitals product and overseeing various engineering tasks. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Engineer at Minocu and was a Zero Knowledge Tooling Developer at Ethereum Foundation.
Jacob has also held roles such as Senior Architect IOT at Iced Development and Principle Embedded Engineer at Chippd, where they played a crucial role in product development and coordination with teams. Jacob worked as a Software Engineer at Parallax Inc., contributing to the development of the Chrome IDE project. Additionally, they served as the Lead Firmware Engineer at Octoblu, Inc. and was involved in the creation of the Microblu OS.
Earlier in their career, Jacob was a Cofounder of hackPHX, where they organized hackathons and developed programming for various topics. Jacob also worked as a Lead Embedded Engineer at Arizona State University CUbiC Lab, where they developed a distributed actuation system for vibratory patterns delivery. Lastly, they founded and served as the Board Chair of HeatSync Labs, a community workshop aimed at providing access to tools and knowledge for prototyping and manufacturing.
Throughout their career, Jacob has demonstrated skills in firmware and software development, team leadership, architecture, and mentoring. Jacob has experience working on a variety of technologies and platforms, including IoT, embedded systems, and web development.
Jacob Rosenthal attended Arizona State University from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering.
