Jonnie Ross

Jonnie Ross has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. They are currently the Co-Founder and President of Project City, a role they have held since January 2021.

Prior to this, Jonnie was heavily involved in the virtual reality and animation industry. They were a Co-Founder of Mindshow, Inc, where they played different roles such as Co-Founder, Co-Founder & CXO, and CCO from 2014 to 2020. During their time at Mindshow, Jonnie led the design and development of core systems for animation creation and collaborated on various innovative projects.

Jonnie also co-founded The Proto Awards in 2014 and VRLA in the same year, further showcasing their dedication to the virtual reality industry.

In addition, Jonnie worked as a Director for Gifted Youth @ Funny Or Die in 2013 and as a Creative Consultant for Master Grip from 2004 to 2014.

Before that, Jonnie served as a Creative Consultant and Test Commercial Director for Apple's Media Arts Lab, where they worked under the direction of Steve Jobs and collaborated with creatives at TBWA Chiat Day LA.

Jonnie has also worked as a Director for various companies, including Smuggler, Soft Citizen, Stink, ED Commercials, Funny or Die, Honeyshed, Tool, Holy Cow, Redcar, and Namethkuf.
