Martijn Verburg

Investor and Executive Coach (CxO) at Mindstone

Martijn Verburg has a long and varied work experience. Martijn began their career in 2003 as the Chairperson of PCGen. In 2008, they became a Committer at Ikasan and a Bartender (Moderator) at JavaRanch.com. Martijn also became a Co-organiser of the London Java User Group in 2009. In 2010, they co-founded the UK Graduate and Undergraduate developer community and in 2011 they became a Product Advisor for ZeroTurnaround and Co-Founder and Director for Teamsparq. In 2012, they became the CEO and CTO of JCLARITY LIMITED. Finally, in 2019, they joined Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineering Group Manager (Java) and in 2020 they became an Investor and Executive Coach (CxO) for Mindstone.

Martijn Verburg received a BSc in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington between 1997 and 2000. Martijn also received a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Management Information Systems, General from the same university during the same time period.
