Dimitrios Trigkakis

Dimitrios Trigkakis has had a varied career in computer vision and machine learning. Dimitrios began their career in 2015 as a Researcher at the Technical University of Crete. Dimitrios also worked as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where they developed deep learning modules for the Planteome bisque platform and designed annotator tools for plant leaf image annotation. In 2018, they joined BigML, Inc. as a Computer Vision Intern, where they developed supervised and unsupervised methods for identifying image content. Dimitrios then returned to the Technical University of Crete as a Researcher, where they worked on Drones2GNSS and SenseLab projects. In 2020, they joined Mindtech Global Limited as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Dimitrios Trigkakis obtained a Master's degree in EECS from Oregon State University between 2015 and 2018. Dimitrios also attended Technical University of Crete / Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης between 2008 and 2014, but did not receive any degree.
