Robotics SW Engineer at Mine Vision Systems

Eddie Sasagawa has been working as a Robotics SW Engineer at Mine Vision Systems since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer and Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman from 2015 to 2022. During their time at Northrop Grumman, Eddie successfully developed and tested software for multiple programs simultaneously, delivering quality work to meet program expectations. Eddie also traveled overseas to help drive successful product integrations and collaborate with customers to efficiently resolve changes. In 2014, Eddie worked as a Lead Robot Test Engineer and R&D Summer Intern at IMRIS. From 2011 to 2013, they served as President of the University of Minnesota Aikido Club, where they coordinated with fellow club officers to effectively manage the administrative duties of the club and organized club promotional events. In 2013, Eddie was an International Research Assistant at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Eddie Sasagawa completed their high school diploma at Maranatha Christian Academy in 2010. Eddie then went on to receive their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2014. In 2018, they obtained a Robotics: Dynamics and Control - ROBO3x certification from edX. In 2011, they were certified as a LabVIEW Associate Developer from National Instruments. Currently, Eddie is pursuing a Master's degree in Robotics from the University of Minnesota, which they expect to complete in 2022.
