Alejandro Barria Loaiza

Alejandro Barria Loaiza has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Gerente de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional and Gerente de Operaciones Procesamiento at Minera Candelaria since January 2016, along with a previous role as Superintendente de Operaciones Concentradora. Prior to this, Alejandro worked at Freeport-McMoRan from February 2011 to January 2016, holding positions such as Superintendente de Metalurgia, Superintendente Lixiviación, and Jefe General de Lixiviación, following a role as Jefe Operaciones ROM between June 2010 and December 2010. Alejandro's educational background includes an MBA from Universidad de Chile (2013-2015), a degree as Ingeniero Civil Metalúrgico from Universidad de Concepción (1997-2003), and currently pursuing a certification as Experto Sernageomin B at SERVICIO NACIONAL DE GEOLOGIA Y MINERIA (August 2023 - December 2023).
