Thanh Vu

Thanh Vu is currently working as a Perception ML Engineer at Mineral.ai and Google X. They have extensive experience in leading CVML projects aimed at developing perception and generative AI for sustainable agriculture. Prior to this role, Thanh served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they led computer vision efforts in autonomous driving technology. They also have internship experience at Lenovo, Amazon, and Lafayette College, where they worked on projects related to augmented reality, software engineering, and computer vision research. Thanh holds a PhD and MS in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a BS in Computer Science from Lafayette College.
