Angela de Paor

Angela de Paor has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Angela started their career in 2005 as an Underground Geotech with Aditya Birla Group and then moved on to Xstrata Nickel, where they worked as a Project Geologist from 2007 to 2012. In this role, they were involved in underground production and resource definition projects. Angela then worked as an Exploration Geologist with Abra Mining Ltd and Mutiny Gold Ltd before joining Doray Minerals Limited as a Mine Geologist in 2015. Angela later joined Newcrest Mining as a Senior Production Geologist in 2018 and then became a Senior Mine Geologist at Northern Star Resources Limited in 2019. Currently, Angela is working as a Superintendent - Production and Reconciliation at Newcrest Mining since 2021. Angela will soon be taking on a new role as the Principal Planning and Logistics at Mineral Resources Limited from 2023.

Angela de Paor attended Curtin University from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Geology.
