Bill Hancock

Bill Hancock currently serves as Manager Underground Operations at Mineral Resources Limited since December 2023. Prior to this role, Bill amassed extensive experience in underground mining and engineering at various organizations, including GOLD FIELDS, where Bill worked in multiple managerial capacities from October 2020 to October 2023, and Westgold Resources as Underground Manager from February 2019 to August 2020. Bill's career began with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining) from the University of Adelaide, followed by roles at Rio Tinto as a Graduate Mining Engineer, and internships that provided foundational experience in mining engineering and geotechnical operations. Throughout Bill's career, a strong focus has been placed on health and safety, leadership, and strategic planning within underground mining operations.
