Jason Houlihan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason began their career as an Information Management Systems Analyst at WMC Resources in 2000. Jason then worked as a MES Business Analyst at WMC from 2003 to 2005 before joining Honeywell as an MES Consultant and later becoming the Team Leader. At Honeywell, they also served as the Advanced Solutions Consultant until 2010.

In 2010, Jason joined Karara Mining Ltd as a Senior Information Technology Business System Analyst and worked there until 2013. After that, they became the Managing Director of Tint A Car Cairns Home and Office, a position they held from 2014 until 2018.

Most recently, Jason worked at Mineral Resources Limited. Jason served as an Operations Systems Business Analyst from 2019 to 2020 and then became the Operational Systems Business Lead in 2020. In this role, they led the initiative to engineer the IIoT platform to ingest real-time SCADA data to the cloud and provide business observability into operations. Jason also developed OT initiatives with client engagements to produce business-oriented OT value cases and executive investment IT briefs.

Jason Houlihan has a diverse education history. Jason holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Skills from Curtin University which they obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from Swinburne University of Technology between 2017 and 2020. In 2005, Jason studied Business Management at Federation University Australia. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Murdoch University from 2000 to 2003. Their earliest education experience was at Curtin University where they studied Extractive Metallurgy from 1990 to 1992. Jason has also acquired an additional certification in Data Analysis with Python from IBM. The year of completion for this certification is not provided.
