Pengcheng Hu

Pengcheng Hu is a seasoned mining engineering professional with extensive experience in mine planning and optimization. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Planning Engineer for Mineral Resources Limited since December 2019, Pengcheng has held roles in both strategic and tactical planning, focusing on pit optimisations and safety enhancements. Prior experience includes positions at Thiess, where Pengcheng contributed to operational delivery and blast movement tracking, and CITIC Pacific Mining, where responsibilities encompassed short to medium-term planning and drill & blast engineering. Pengcheng holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology and is pursuing a Master's degree in Minerals and Energy Economics at Curtin University.
