Gerald Perry

Athletic Director/ Head Football at Mineral Wells ISD

Gerald Perry has a strong background in coaching and athletics. Gerald began their work experience in 1993 as a football, basketball, and track coach at Lorena ISD. From there, they went on to work at Lake Worth HS as a football coordinator and head track coach. In 2000, they joined Burleson HS as a football and track coach before becoming the offensive coordinator and track coach at Plano East High School in 2002. Perry then became the owner of Metroplex Vaulting Academy in 2005, where they served as the pole vault club owner. Gerald continued their career in education by becoming the athletic director and head football coach at Bastrop ISD in 2008. After leaving Bastrop ISD in 2013, Perry worked as a football and track coach at Midway High School. Currently, they are serving as the athletic director and head football coach at Mineral Wells ISD.

Gerald Perry completed their education at Baylor University, beginning with their Bachelor's degree in Education from 1989 to 1992. Gerald then pursued a Master's degree at Baylor University from 1993 to 1995. Before attending Baylor, Gerald Perry attended Lorena High School from 1984 to 1988, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
