Mineral Wells ISD
Lora C. possesses over twenty years of professional and volunteer experience in public education and library services. Currently serving as a Professional Educator at Mineral Wells ISD since August 2018, Lora has implemented lesson plans accommodating diverse learning styles, conducted assessments, and collaborated with staff to enhance student achievement. Prior roles include Program Director/Library Tech at Marine Corps Community Services Station Library, where Lora managed programs, budgets, and increased patron engagement significantly. Previous teaching positions at Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, Fort Worth ISD, and Barstow Unified School District contributed to Lora's expertise in curriculum design, technology integration, and educator training. Lora holds a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University, an Associate of Applied Science in Network Systems Administration from DeVry University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University, with ongoing pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Leadership, and Organization at Texas Woman's University.
