Roberto Camilo de Paula

Roberto Camilo de Paula is an experienced professional in operations and production management within the chemical industry. Currently serving as Gerente Regional de Operações at Minerals Technologies Inc. since July 2013, Roberto has overseen five chemical plants across various states in Brazil and has been instrumental in coordinating manufacturing projects, start-ups, and operational optimizations. With a tenure at MINERALS TECHNOLOGIES DO BRASIL beginning in May 1996, Roberto also held the position of Gerente de Produção, focusing on cost rationalization and operational standardization. Prior experience includes serving as Gerente de Processos e Qualidade at Votorantim Celulose e Papel, where Roberto managed project implementation, safety improvements, and team training from September 1988 to April 1996, and as Supervisor de Recuperação Quimica at Ripasa Celulose e Papel from January 1985 to September 1988. Roberto holds an MBA in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas (2000-2002) and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1980-1984).
