Professor Claire Macken, PhD, serves as Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Minerva University and is a Board Member of AustCham ASEAN and AusCham Vietnam. Previously, Macken held several positions at RMIT University in Vietnam, including Pro Vice-Chancellor and General Director, as well as Professor and Executive Dean Academics and Students (Interim) and Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching in the College of Business and Law. Earlier experience includes a role as Management Consultant and Education Director at KPMG. Macken's academic background features a Doctor of Philosophy in Counter-Terrorism from Deakin University, where studies were completed from 2002 to 2009, following an earlier undergraduate education at the same institution from 1996 to 2002.
