Philip Graasbøl Juul Pedersen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Philip Graasbøl Juul began their career as a Kitchen Assistant and Night Porter at Park Hotel from 1996 to 2001. Philip Graasbøl Juul then served as a Sergent in the Danish Army from 2001 to 2004. Philip Graasbøl Juul worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Copenhagen in 2008. In 2010, they started working at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, UCPH as a PhD student, focusing on large animal heart function and disease. During this time, they also worked as a Sales Assistant at Dyreriget from 2005 to 2010. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Research Scientist at IBISS, where they focused on biomimetic separation and sensing techniques. Philip Graasbøl Juul joined Gubra in 2010 and held multiple roles including Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Designated Veterinarian, and Principal Scientist. At Gubra, they conducted pre-clinical pharmacological studies, was responsible for animal welfare and accreditation, and worked on target discovery and drug discovery projects. Currently, they are the Department Manager and Head of translational model development at Minerva Imaging, where they lead the large animal unit and is involved in the development of pre-clinical translational animal disease models in both small and large animals.
Philip Graasbøl Juul Pedersen began their education in 1998 at Aalborg Katedralskole, where they obtained their high school diploma in Mathematical studies in 2001. Philip Graasbøl Juul went on to attend Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2004 to 2010, earning a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine. In 2010, they pursued further studies at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and completed a PhD in Heart Physiology in 2014.
In terms of additional certifications, Philip obtained a Laboratory Animal Science Cat. C certification from FELASA in November 2010. Philip Graasbøl Juul also received the LabVet Europe Designated Veterinarian certification from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in August 2020.
