Victor Tay

Victor Tay's work experience begins with their role as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at MinervaAI since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo where they held the position of VP, International Risk Services Leader from August 2019 to July 2020, and Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer for Canada from October 2018 to August 2019. Before joining Wells Fargo, they were employed at CIBC as the Senior Director of AML Strategy & Solutions from December 2014 to October 2018. At CIBC, they led a team responsible for transformation and streamlining of the AML group, as well as providing subject matter expertise for the design of the target operating model. Victor also worked at BMO Financial Group as a Senior Consultant for AML Transformation for a brief period in 2014. From 2006 to 2014, they worked at RBC in various roles such as Manager of AML Solution Delivery and Reporting, Manager of AML Operations Production Support, and Senior Business Systems Analyst. Victor started their career as a Business Analyst at Procter & Gamble from 2004 to 2006.

Victor Tay received their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
