Getachew Melkamu

Getachew Melkamu is a scientist at Minervax ApS since August 2021, specializing in laboratory research. Previously, Getachew worked in immunology at Lund University from December 2018 to November 2020, gaining experience in genotype analysis, mouse colony management, and contributing to ongoing experiments. Getachew also completed a master's project on the ubiquitination of pro-IL-1β related to GAS infection in macrophages during an MSc student tenure at Lund University from August 2015 to September 2017. Early career experience includes serving as a medical microbiologist and educator at Mekelle University from July 2010 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Molecular Biology from Lund University and two MSc degrees in Medical Microbiology from Addis Ababa University, complemented by a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology from the same institution.
