Caitlin Podas is the Manager of Registration & Exhibitions at Mingei International Museum. Caitlin previously served as an intern at the South Carolina State Museum, cataloging a collection of World War II objects belonging to a member of the Women's Army Corps, and performing monthly upkeep of museum galleries. Caitlin also assisted the Chief Registrar in regulating temperature, humidity, and light levels in temporary exhibition galleries. Caitlin also interned at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where they inventoried galleries and storage space, reconciled and updated artifact records in collections database, and researched Found in Collection artifacts. Caitlin has also worked as an Office Administrator at St. Charles Capital and as an Education Intern at the Denver Art Museum. Most recently, they served as a Special Projects Registrar at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.
Caitlin Podas received their Masters in Public Theirtory from the University of South Carolina. Caitlin also has a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory from Colorado State University. Caitlin began their education at Lutheran High School of Orange County where they received their diploma.
They work with Caroline Nordquist - Director of Advancement, Jill DeDominicis - Senior Manager of Visitor Experience, and Steve Phallen - Chief Financial & Operations Officer.
