Mingei International Museum
David Leroi is an experienced art handler and exhibition preparator currently working at Mingei International Museum since July 2021. Previously, David served as a historic preservation specialist at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, focusing on the restoration and preservation of Miami's oldest historical landmark. David's diverse background includes roles as a fine art handler at Museo Vault and art preparator at Pérez Art Museum Miami. As an independent artist from 2004 to 2015, David operated David Leroi Studio. Earlier experience includes positions in molding, casting, and restoration at OH Fine Arts, historical monument restoration at Atelier Jean-Loup Bouvier, and various roles in visitor services and curatorial support at several museums. David holds a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from Ecole Nationale d'Art La Villa Arson in Nice, France.
