Daryl Aleksiewicz

Daryl Aleksiewicz has an extensive work experience in the field of finance. Daryl began their career in 2002 as a Staff Accountant at C&S Wholesale Grocers, where they created financial accounting and reporting infrastructure for sister company ES3 and enhanced financial reporting processes and capabilities for C&S overhead departments. Daryl then moved up to Senior Accountant, Manager FP&A, and Director Corporate Development and Commercial Finance. In 2009, they left C&S to become the Finance Director/Controller at Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, where they were responsible for the entire financial operation of a 404 dually certified bed skilled nursing facility. In 2016, they joined SUPERVALU as Senior Director Corporate Development and Innovation, where they were the business lead in the successful sale of the company for $2.9 billion. Daryl then joined UNFI in 2018 as Vice President Finance, where they were responsible for the annual operating plan of the company’s fulfillment network with annual operating costs of $2 billion across 50 distribution centers. Daryl was also a key member in structuring a new profitable and sustainable Supply Agreement with BILO-Winn Dixie. In 2022, they joined MingsBings as Vice President Strategic Finance.

Daryl Aleksiewicz obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Investments from Plymouth State University between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Assumption University between 1998 and 2002. In September 2020, they were awarded the Circle of Excellence from UNFI.
