Alex Cole

Alex Cole has over 20 years of work experience in the field of visual effects. Alex began their career as a Part-Time Lecturer at Bournemouth University, where they taught 3DS Max to final year students. Alex then worked as a Freelance Designer at Design Central, gaining expertise in time and project management while working with high-profile international clients.

In 2001, Alex joined Climax as a Visual Effects Artist and later moved to Eurocom, where they served as a Visual Effects Supervisor from 2005 to 2012. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing visual effects teams and overseeing projects.

In 2013, Alex joined EightPixelsSquare as a Senior VFX Artist. Alex worked on various projects, including Sniper Strike: Special Ops, Ghostbusters: Slime City, and Raid HQ. Alex also contributed to an unannounced project for iOS in 2019.

Currently, Alex works as a Senior VFX Artist at Miniclip, starting in 2022.

Alex Cole attended Hertfordshire University from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Systems for the arts and media. Following this, from 1999 to 2000, Alex enrolled at Bournemouth University for a Master's degree in Computer Animation.
