Alexandre Marques dos Santos

Alexandre Marques dos Santos has a strong background in data analysis and risk management. Alexandre began their career as a Summer Intern at PwC Portugal in 2013. In 2015, they joined PwC Portugal as a Risk Consultant, where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Risk Analyst at Fidelidade. Alexandre then moved on to become a Data Analyst at Fidelidade from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Miniclip as a Data Analyst I, where they worked on conducting analyses to provide insights on game performance and user behavior. Alexandre was promoted to Data Analyst II in 2022, and later took on the role of Lead Data Analyst. In this role, Alexandre provided data insights to improve user engagement with games, conducted ad-hoc analysis to understand player behavior, and managed key analytics projects. Alexandre also mentored junior analysts and worked closely with Product Managers and Game Designers to design and conduct A/B tests.

Alexandre Marques dos Santos has an education history that includes a Master's degree in finance from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where they participated in the International Master of Science program from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they also studied at HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne for an exchange semester.

Prior to that, Alexandre obtained an IELTS certificate from the British Council in July 2012, and a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge in June 2010.

Additionally, Alexandre has been involved in online data science challenges, such as the DrivenData Water Pumps Challenge, Kaggle R Tutorial on Machine Learning, and intermediate R and Intro to Python for Data Science courses by DataCamp.
