Josh Leykam

Josh Leykam has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on underwriting and operations. Josh currently serves as the Vice President of Underwriting at MiniCo Insurance, where they oversee underwriting operations for multiple property and casualty programs. In this role, they are responsible for book performance, product innovation, program maintenance and expansion, managing carrier relations, and portfolio strategy. Prior to MiniCo Insurance, Josh held various leadership roles at The Hanover Insurance Group, including Director positions in the Central Region, Southwest Branch, and Kansas/Missouri. In these roles, they were accountable for the growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives of commercial portfolios, as well as maintaining compliance and driving operational improvements. Before joining The Hanover Insurance Group, Josh worked at Zurich North America as a Senior Underwriter, where they focused on new business growth, renewal retention, and book management. Josh also held positions at CNA Insurance, where they specialized in technology underwriting and small business underwriting. Throughout their career, Josh has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic analysis, and relationship management skills.

Josh Leykam has a Diploma from St. Francis Borgia High School. Josh then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Central Missouri. Furthering their education, Josh completed an MBA from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business.
