James French is a geotechnical expert with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as the Manager - Geotechnical at Mining One Consultants since March 2023, James has also worked as an Independent Consultant for Mining & Civil Geotechnics from February 2020 to March 2023. Between December 2009 and January 2017, James held dual roles as Study Manager and Mine Development Superintendent at MMG Limited. Previous positions include Geotechnical Superintendent at OZ Minerals, Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Oxiana, and Geotechnical Engineer for both underground and open-pit operations at AngloGold Ashanti. James holds a degree from RMIT University.
