Software Engineer at MinIO

Ersan Bozduman has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1997 at Auspex Systems as a Product-Assurance/System-Test Engineer and Technical Lead. In this role, they designed and wrote test plans, defined test cases (manual and automated) from functional spec. documents, and prepared test reports at the end of each test cycle for Solaris based Auspex Network File Server Releases. In 2000, they moved to Zambeel as a Senior SW Automation/QA Engineer, where they developed test tools and scripts (Shell scripts, Expect, Perl) for Zambeel’s Linux based Network Attached Storage (NAS) product and tested the code before and after its merge into the production tree. From 2002 to 2003, they worked at Caw Networks/Spirent Communications as a Senior QA Engineer and Project Lead, acting as QA manager and testing the software to make sure it works seamlessly on Spirent’s custom platforms. In this role, they also worked as a liaison officer for the development of the Avalanche Commander automation feature. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Coding Dojo, an immersive learning environment for aspiring web developers in Silicon Valley. Ersan successfully completed training on 3 full-stacks: Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, and MEAN (MongoDB-Express-Angular-Node). Finally, they are currently employed at MinIO as a Software Engineer.

Ersan Bozduman obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 1980 and 1986. Additionally, in October 2016, they obtained the certification of "Up and Running with Aptana Studio 3" from LinkedIn.
