Ramon de Klein

Ramon de Klein is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles primarily focused on software architecture and development. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at MinIO since April 2024, Ramon has held significant positions, including Main Developer for TransferXL, a high-performance file-sharing service, and Software Architect at Cross Point, where migration of back-end systems to Azure was accomplished. As the Owner and Director of Le Petit, Ramon transitioned to freelance work after nearly 15 years in a management-focused role at ICT Automatisering to maintain a strong technical focus. Notable contributions include work on high-performance database engines at Sneller and architectural design at RIWO Engineering BV. Ramon holds a degree in Computer Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and has been involved in various volunteering efforts, including developing websites for non-profit organizations.
