Thomas Gomez

Thomas Gomez is a seasoned project manager in the agriculture and forestry sectors, currently serving as Chef de projet systèmes d’information at the Ministère de l'Agriculture, de la Souveraineté alimentaire et de la Forêt since October 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas coordinated the European AgriDataSpace project at Agdatahub from April 2021 to September 2024, overseeing a 2M€ budget and engaging stakeholders to develop the Common European Agriculture Data Space. With a background in digital agriculture and functional expertise in application management at ONF, Thomas has also held positions in precision farming, geomatics, and environmental engineering. Educational qualifications include studies at L'Institut Agro Montpellier, Universitat Politècnica de València, and Pierre and Marie Curie University.
