Catherine Morneau has extensive experience in governmental roles, currently serving as the Directrice générale par intérim de la performance et de la gouvernance organisationnelles at the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec since November 2020. Previous positions at MEQ include Directrice des politiques, de la prospective, de la veille et de la recherche, Secrétaire générale adjointe, and Directrice du Bureau du sous-ministre. Prior to MEQ, Catherine worked as a Conseillère et adjointe exécutive at the Ministère du Travail, de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale, and as a Conseillère en veille stratégique at the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur. Catherine also held advisory roles at École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP) and at various political offices, including the Cabinet du chef de l'Opposition officielle and the Cabinet du Maire de Montréal. Academically, Catherine holds an M.Sc. in Management from HEC Montréal and a Baccalauréat in Sciences commerciales from the University of Ottawa.
