Laurie Saindon is a seasoned political advisor with extensive experience in various governmental roles in Quebec. Currently serving as a political advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Education at the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec since October 2022, Laurie previously held the position of political advisor at the Cabinet of the Minister of the Family from March to October 2022. Prior roles include political advisor for the Minister of Transport at the Gouvernement du Québec from September 2019 to August 2022, and an information officer at the Assemblée nationale du Québec. Laurie’s early career involved communication and public affairs internships, including a notable position at the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec, where contributions were made to promoting Francophone activities in New England. With a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Université Laval and a DEC in Social Sciences from Cégep Gérald-Godin, Laurie possesses a strong academic foundation that complements practical experience in external relations and safety management.
