Michel Metran is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assessor do MP at the Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo since March 2012, where involvement includes organizing data from various systems into strategic information for decision-making support. In addition to this role, Michel also acts as an Advisor of Prosecution Service, assisting in environmental matters related to judicial and extra-judicial procedures, preparing technical reports, and mitigating environmental impacts. Prior to this, Metran was a Project Coordinator at the Laboratory of Ecology and Forest Restoration at ESALQ-USP, focusing on forest restoration projects and environmental regularization in rural areas. Metran's education includes a Bachelor's in Technology da Informação with a concentration in Data Science, an MBA in Data Science and Analytics, and a Master's in Forest Resources from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz," complemented by earlier studies in Biological Sciences.
