Greg Curran

Greg Curran has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Greg is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Ministry Brands since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Software Development at AMCS Group from September 2019 to April 2023. During their tenure, Greg successfully scaled the software development organization from 60 to over 200 people.

From January 2016 to September 2019, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Senior Engineering Manager. Before that, they held the position of Director, Technical Program Management at Dell from May 2011 to December 2015. During their time at Dell, they led a global organization of 34 people and was responsible for driving the technical delivery of a new mission-critical enterprise-class sales application.

Greg also has experience as a Co-Founder and Director at Lavalloch Software Limited, where they co-founded a sports social media business. Greg has further worked as a Program Manager at Houghton Mifflin and as a Senior Programme/Project Manager at Fidelity Investments.

Greg'searly career includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments, a Software Engineer at Informix Software, and an Intern Software Engineer at Irish Life & Permanent.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in software development, agile transformation, and a data-driven approach to engineering excellence.

Greg Curran attended Waterford Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BSc. in Applied Computing. During their time at the institute, they studied Java, C, C++, Systems Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Applied Mathematics, and Accountancy. In 2005, they obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun. Greg also obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in an unknown year. Most recently, in December 2017, they received a certificate in High Impact Leadership from the Irish Management Institute.
