Andy Elliot

Andy Elliot is a seasoned professional in aquaculture and research management, currently serving as the Research And Development Manager at FlipFarm Systems since July 2023, focusing on innovative farming systems and technologies. Simultaneously, Andy contributes to the Industry Advisory Panel for the Ministry for Primary Industries since October 2021. Prior experience includes leading Research and Business Development for AuOra under Wakatū Incorporation from August 2016 to June 2023, alongside significant roles such as Executive Committee Member at the NZ Hemp Industry Association and Nuffield Scholar 2018. Previous positions span over a decade at Kono NZ LP, where management of research and development, aquaculture project management, and hatchery operations were central. Andy's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Zoology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Science from the University of Otago.
