Catherine Manawaiti

Catherine Manawaiti is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in community engagement, Māori capability, and organizational development. Currently serving as a Specialist Advisor Māori Capability at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), Catherine leads initiatives focused on Māori capability within organizational development and corporate services. With a history of roles including Board Trustee for the Waitomo Ratepayers and Residents Collective and Senior Project Coordinator for Pataka Institution, Catherine has established a commitment to local advocacy and community well-being. Previous experience includes writing cultural court reports for the Ministry of Justice and serving as Principal Advisor for Community Capabilities at the Ministry of Social Development.
