Emily Skelly, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst at the Ministry for Primary Industries since April 2023. Prior to this role, Emily was involved with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as a Project Manager and Programme Coordinator from February 2021 to January 2023. Emily's research experience includes working as a PostGraduate Research Assistant at the Zoological Society of London, focusing on the analysis of fungal communities on amphibian skin in relation to chytridiomycosis. Emily completed a PhD at the University of Adelaide from April 2016 to April 2019, specializing in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Minor in Biology from Western University. Additional work experiences include roles in clinical assistance, research project management, and catering, contributing to the development of both technical and interpersonal skills.
