Gavin Miller

Gavin Miller is a seasoned manager in biosecurity and aquatic pest management, currently leading initiatives at the Ministry for Primary Industries since December 2020, focusing on Foot and Mouth Disease preparedness and traceability for sheep and pigs. Gavin has previously spearheaded efforts in the Pacific region to enhance biosecurity systems against transboundary animal diseases, collaborating with various international organizations. Prior roles include Senior Adviser at the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association, where relationship building and revenue generation were key, and Young Enterprise Trust, promoting young entrepreneurship in Wellington.
