Peter McGregor

Peter McGregor, CA, CISA, has extensive experience in audit, risk, and governance across various sectors, currently serving as the Manager Audit, Research & Evaluation at the Ministry for Primary Industries since October 2020. Previous roles include Principal Advisor Risk & Assurance at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand from 2012 to 2020, where responsibilities encompassed providing assurance to executive leadership and assisting with internal audit planning. Other notable positions include Senior Manager in Business Risk Services at Grant Thornton, Associate Director at ANZ, and Reporting Assurance Manager at the Bank of New Zealand. Peter holds a B.Com degree in Accounting from the University of Canterbury and has contributed to ISACA as both Treasurer and President of the Wellington Chapter.
