Rob Griffiths is an experienced professional in stakeholder engagement and partnerships, currently serving as a Senior Adviser for Stakeholder Engagement at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) since January 2022. In this role, Rob is responsible for developing the Partnering strategy for the Planning and Advisory Service, with a focus on engaging key stakeholders, particularly Māori communities. Prior to this, Rob held positions such as Partnerships Advisor at Rotorua Lakes Council and Youth Development Advisor at the Ministry of Social Development, demonstrating a strong background in community engagement and youth development. Previous roles include serving as a Partnerships Ranger at the Department of Conservation and an Instructor at Hillary Outdoors, underscoring a commitment to education and outdoor pursuits. Rob’s career began as Alpine Course Director for the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance, contributing to the training of professional instructors. Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Victoria University of Wellington.
