Nema Omar

Nema Omar is an experienced professional in administration, logistics, and finance, currently serving as the Administration and Logistics Coordinator for the PESCA European Union funded project at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries since November 2018. Prior to this role, Nema worked at Save the Children for eight years, progressing from Administrative Assistant to Senior Accountant, managing full cycle accounting, financial reporting, and administrative functions. Key achievements include recovering over $19,000 in taxes for Save the Children and maintaining payroll for 400 staff members. Nema holds an MBA from Metropolitan School of Business & Management (UK), a PGD in Business Administration from Uganda Management Institute, and a BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University.
