Denisa Nechanská

Odbor Environmentálních Podpor Rozvoje Venkova at Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic

Denisa Nechanská has extensive experience in environmental policy and agricultural support, currently serving at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic since November 2020, where responsibilities include guaranteeing agro-environmental and climate measures, preparing national legislation, and ensuring compliance with EU regulations. Previously, Denisa worked at the State Agricultural Intervention Fund from July 2014 to October 2020, leading projects related to national subsidy controls and providing methodological guidance for inspections. With a background in environmental analysis and GIS at Atem s.r.o., Denisa also coordinated English language instruction at Wattsenglish Ltd. and gained practical experience at Prague City Hall. Denisa is pursuing a Ph.D. in Zoology at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, complementing previous degrees in Environmental Protection, Animal Science, and Applied Ecology from various institutions.
