Danielle McKenzie has extensive experience in tourism policy and management, currently serving as the Tourism Systems and Insights Policy Manager at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since August 2015. Previous roles within the Ministry include Tourism Policy Manager and Programme Director for Responsible Camping, among others. Danielle has also worked as a Senior Adviser in Tourism at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and held several key positions in the Ministry of Tourism from 2004 to 2009, including Policy Advisor and Private Secretary. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Tourism Advisor for Volunteer Services Abroad and managing international projects at Tourism Resource Consultants.
