Jamie Kerr

Jamie Kerr is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy and economic strategy, currently serving as Director for both Climate Change and Economic Strategy at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since September 2021. Previously, Jamie held the position of General Manager at Land Information New Zealand and worked in various managerial and advisory roles within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Financial Services Authority, and Ministry of Economic Development. With a solid foundation in policy advisement and industry development, Jamie's career spans over two decades, beginning with roles at the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Canterbury and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University.
