Mel John “Mj” del Barrio

Mel John “MJ” del Barrio is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and medical laboratory science. Currently serving as a Senior Test Analyst at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since May 2023, MJ has previously held roles such as QA Analyst at Valocity and Test Engineer In Training/Test Analyst at Assurity Consulting. Additional experience includes an Enterprise Mobility Engineer position at ANZ and various technical roles within medical laboratories from 2007 to 2016. MJ holds a Diploma in Software Development from Whitecliffe, a Graduate Diploma in Science from Massey University, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University. In pursuit of further expertise, MJ is currently working towards a Microcredential in UX Design at Yoobee College and a Professional Certificate in UX Design through Coursera.
