Robert Wright

Robert Wright is an experienced professional in the field of building systems and compliance, currently serving as Principal Advisor for Building System Assurance at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since September 2023. Previously, Robert held several key positions at Christchurch City Council, including Head of Building Consenting and Head of Operational Policy & Quality Improvement, contributing to the Consenting & Compliance Group from December 2013 to September 2023. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Wright 101 Solutions Ltd (2008-2013), Building Control Manager at Timaru District Council (2000-2008), and Building Control Surveyor at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (1989-1995).
