Steve Vaughan

Steve Vaughan is an experienced public servant currently serving as the General Manager of Verification and Compliance at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since September 2019. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Assistant General Manager at the same ministry from July 2014 to September 2019. Steve’s career in public service began with a lengthy tenure at NZ Police, where Steve served as a Constabulary Member until retirement in July 2014. Steve holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Massey University, complemented by foundational education at St Patricks College Wellington.
