Victoria Mataitonga

Victoria Mataitonga is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, procurement, and community service across various sectors in New Zealand. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Leader at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Victoria also contributes as a volunteer for Everybody Eats, focused on reducing food waste and poverty. Active in the Auckland Government Women's Network as a committee member, Victoria fosters connections among women in local and central government. Additionally, Victoria co-founded and manages The Akanesi Mataitonga Charitable Trust and holds a position as a Board Director for The Glass Ceiling Arts Collective, advocating for marginalized communities in the arts. With extensive experience in operational management, procurement, and strategic program leadership, Victoria's educational background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Social & Community Leadership from the University of Auckland and various qualifications from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, among others.
