Hatim Bawazir

Hatim Bawazir is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in visitor experience, destination management, and marketing. Currently serving as the Head of Visitor Experience in the Events and Festivals Sector at the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture since March 2020, Hatim established the Visitor Experience Department to enhance cultural events across 11 subsectors. Previously, at Emaar, Hatim held various positions, including Associate Director of the Destination Management Office, where strategies were implemented to create tailored visitor offerings, and Associate Director of Digital Experience, focusing on enhancing digital platforms. Earlier roles include leadership positions in marketing and client services at Go Digital, Elixir Management Consultancy, and Hanco Automotive. Hatim holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The American University in Cairo.
