Head Of Public Policy And Innovation For Accelerate Estonia at Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonia

Greta Elva-Jõemaa has a diverse work experience in the public sector of Estonia. Greta is currently serving as the Head of Public Policy and Innovation at Accelerate Estonia since May 2023. Prior to this, they also held the position of Head of Public Policy and Innovation for Accelerate Estonia at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonia, starting in July 2023.

Greta has also worked as a Cyber Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Defence of Estonia, from February 2022 to April 2023. Greta gained experience in business diplomacy as a Business Diplomacy Adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia from August 2021 to February 2022.

Greta started their career in the Estonian Ministry of Defence, where they worked as an International Affairs Specialist from June 2016 to July 2021, and as an Executive Assistant from January 2014 to May 2016.

Greta also worked as a Management Trainee HR at the Estonian Ministry of Defence in 2013 and as an Event Management Coordinator at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology from June 2012 to August 2013.

Greta Elva-Jõemaa has a diverse education background. In 2011, they enrolled at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration in 2015. Following that, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Tallinn University and obtained their Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior Studies.

In 2021, Greta participated in a short-term program at the Software Development Academy, focusing on Computer Software Development with a specialization in Python. Greta completed the program successfully, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.

Moreover, Greta Elva-Jõemaa has an additional certification in Python from Scratch, which they obtained in October 2021. This certification was granted by the Software Development Academy.
