Kaido Tee has a diverse work experience in various government agencies in Estonia. Kaido currently serves as the Head of International Cyber Security Cooperation at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, starting in March 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Leading expert at the Estonian Information System Authority.
Before joining the Ministry and the Information System Authority, Kaido Tee worked at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU as a Counselor for Justice and Home affairs from 2013 to 2018. Their responsibilities included representing and defending Estonia's positions in the EU decision-making process, organizing activities and cooperation, and preparing for the presidency of the EU Council.
From 2011 to 2013, Kaido Tee served as the Head of International Relations Office at the Estonian Rescue Board, and from 2007 to 2011, they worked as an Advisor at the Estonian Ministry of the Interior.
Kaido Tee earned their Master's degree in History from the University of Tartu, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
