Sumit Jha

Sumit Jha is a data scientist currently employed at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology since February 2024, where responsibilities include developing predictive models using various supervised learning algorithms. Previously, Sumit worked at BARC India from June 2016 to February 2024, serving as an Associate Manager and Sr. Executive, focusing on exploratory data analysis and data modeling, along with the installation of NUC Meters. Earlier experience includes a role as an Associate at Prime Focus Technologies, where monitoring of over 500 channels through BAR-O-Meter was conducted. Sumit holds a PG Diploma in Data Science with a focus on Business Intelligence/Data Analytics from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
